Q39
do you have a construction project we can help with?
About this Project
Building both the original Q39 location and the Antioch expansion allowed CCS to bring one of Kansas City’s most beloved barbecue restaurants to life in two distinct spaces. Each project required a balance of rustic charm and modern efficiency, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to serving high-quality barbecue in a comfortable, inviting setting.
For the original location, CCS worked closely with Q39 to capture the restaurant’s signature look, integrating wood accents, open seating, and an industrial aesthetic that echoed the craftsmanship of the food itself. The kitchen, a critical component of any barbecue joint, was designed to optimize workflow and accommodate the restaurant’s high volume, ensuring smooth operations without sacrificing quality.
The Antioch location took these principles and expanded on them, with CCS building a larger space that maintained the same welcoming atmosphere while offering more room for guests to enjoy their meals. Each project exemplifies CCS’s ability to blend functionality with character, creating spaces that not only meet the operational needs of a busy restaurant but also enhance the dining experience.
